I have been on vacation from work.

We drove my new car (I bought a black Escalade last month) down to see my mom in Texas.

She is happy, healthy, getting fucking old (!!), but still keeps about two hundred fucking goats, forty something sheep, eight horses, three burros, about fifty ducks and nearly a thousand chickens  (WTF!!).

We had a blast, especially the kids.

The trip was fun, too!

It had been a while since I had traveled by car to "anywhere."

We were gone for twelve days.

We kitty-kenneled the cat while we were gone. She was very glad to see us, at first. Later, she spent the entire evening being pissy and hissy. :-\
