I don't have any tattoo or piercing either but got pierced by accident a couple of times also. One that springs to mind now was when I was 16/17 y/o some dude threw a dart in my right hand whilst I was getting my darts out of the dartboard in some bar in Amersfoort.

And no kid ya.. with the dart still stuck in the back of the same hand I punched the fucker in the face tantrum style after I immediately knew that it wasn't by accident this time.

Another pers. trivia.. I'm not as aggressive or boldly acting as I was then, nowadays.

Shaving sucks but I had my last beard at about 24 and my last mustache at about 36. I prefer to shave about every 3 days but in the refinery they mandate being clean shaven all the time.

That is exactly the reason clean shaven is mandated in the refineries. However, unless a person has been tested for fit and minimum lung function, the refinery will not allow them to use a respirator for CYA purposes. I have used them on a couple of occasions when replacing thermocouples in furnaces, for RCF protection, and in a desalter. In those cases the refinery had the contractor take care of fit testing for liability purposes.
