I was born 4 weeks early. Not uncommon for that to happen when it is twins. I was 3lb 13oz.

Well... I am short.

I was a skinny thing before I started taking medication in 2013 for my depression. Then I gained 30kgs in 6 months. I have since stopped the meds but try as I might, I can't shift the weight.

  I'm short too.  Two short parents and four short grandparents, so ... 


  Be patient with yourself about the weight.  Maybe you were going to end up heavier anyway, later in life.
  I was a thin child but ended up with my mother's body type.  I've lost some weight but the stocky frame
  and the tendency toward chubbiness are here to stay.  Just take care of yourself as best you can.

I am very overweight though. It isn't healthy. And it looks odd on me. I am trying to keep active, going to the gym three times a week and doing lots of walking. But I think my diet is my downfall. Not enough fruit and vegetables.

  I have heard it said that you can't outrun a bad diet.  I need to lose weight too.

I was almost 3 weeks late, but was born 5 lbs and "dead."  (Mom heard the nurse say, "Oh my G_d, the baby's black.")  I was kept in isolation for 3 days, no one even speaking to my mom about me.  When her regular ob-gyn came in from his vacation he asked her how she liked her new daughter.  "I don't know. I've never seen her."  He raised holy hell and Mom was allowed to see me.

Horrible. What was the reason they did not want your Mom to see you? Was it to keep the feeble mother away from anything shocking?
