If you are sick of these posts about other forums, especially about WP, don't read it. Why did you even click on it? To bitch about it?


I go to the forum just now and I see I am banned. The third time it has happened as LG and last time I was told by DW a mom was either a temp ban or a glitch. I swear I didn't do anything wrong this time but I looked at my posts and see my last post I made was "Contact Us doesn't work" so I was perhaps banned for that?

Oh well I don't really care and I thought it was funny and maybe it's a glitch again or a temp ban like it was last time. I got tired of the place anyway because it got boring so I wasn't going there much and I wasn't making much posts as I was before.


Yes I can still log in my account. If the ban stays, oh well I have another account anyway I have never posted under and I have other options.

That doesn't sound like a reason to ban you even in screwed up WP mod logic, so maybe it could have been the duplicate account excuse again, or else it's another glitch.  Maybe you should telephone Alex, if that's what you did before when Sinsboldly banned you.

I have a feeling that capricious bannings are a deliberte part of WP's trategy to keep controll over its members. It's the same sort of psychological trick that gangs use to employ to keep local populations under controll. Random violence creates fear of the gang, random bannings create fear of the mods. This fear is then used to squelch criticism, and maintain the mods facade of legitimacy. The mods then grow arrogant and feel that they are better than the members. Quatermass is a perfect example of this.

Well I am getting told by DW a mom it must be a glitch because she looked at the mod logs and sees no record of who banned me and why. Oh well. I can wait till Alex comes online or call him or just wait. I think I'll wait since I'm too preoccupied what is going on right now in my life and haven't been using WP that much anyway.

LMAO. DW a mom said it was an error and they don't know what happened. My guess is this is going to happen every month since it happened last month and then I saw I was unbanned when I woke up.

I think I get it now. So everyone gets banned for a short bit once a month eh? I bet lot of them don't even notice it because by the time they log back on, they can see the forum again. I wonder if it's happened to shadesofme because I have heard of her getting banned.

Hey it may have happened in March too and I didn't see it because I happened to not be on the forum at the time and by the time I checked it again, I was unbanned. I wouldn't have even noticed last month if I never decided to try getting on the forum one night after work.
