Anyone play Hearts of Iron 2/3?

im used to #2, i used to re-design the map and politics via excel, and create a modern world map.

i am downloading #3 now, i see theyve many times multiplied the number of provinces, but to me personally, its sortof pointless if i cant FIX the map

lets say i play ww2 20 times, and each time denmark conquers germany or something lame, i loved to be able to use excel to correct and fix the map, ultimately creating a 2000+ map
i even had russian federation bombing chechnya and stuff. it was sweet. i was russia.

the only thing i liked about HoI3 was that the number of "conquerable" regions was upped from 2000 to 10 000, making the map a LOT more detailed.
other than that, it was only annoying, and extremely slow.

i always keep playing after i won the war.
you can switch between nations, only for fanaticism sake

when im done ww2'ing, and i wanna create a post-war-world, i will "play" as every single country, ill add new countries through excel files, you can basically create your own game

Where do you get a cheap copy of this game?? I MUST have it! I got sick of Axis & Allies years ago! Axia & Allies actually kinda sucked TBH.
