A lot of officers were killed in Pittsburgh last couple years , and now I remember why I felt totally indifferent to all the killings.

Isn't it funny how they pass laws that make it a felony to shoot a police dog, but the first thing that the stormtroopers police do when they break down your door, is to kill YOUR dogs??

What I think is stupid (I'm a pacifist by the way) is the way that the laws providing the really strict sentence for killing a cop extend to when that cop is off duty.  If an off duty cop decides he wants to rob you and holds your family at gunpoint for whatever his personal reason, if you shoot him, even in defense, you still get the full charge of killing a police officer whether he's on duty in uniform or not

Same here.

There was a guy some years ago who bashed a pig's brains with a baseball bat. He was off duty, but they had a personal grudge, and from what I've heard, the cop deserved it. The guy was 21 and got lifetime for murder. If it had been an ordinary citizen, he would have gotten 10 years or maybe even less.

A good cop is a dead cop.

I would argue that they are not. Then think they are better than the average person on the street mainly because they get to see most people at their worst and also because they have so much power over their lives.

A lot of police become arrogant cunts because of this.
