What's the difference, apart from a proven early obsession with language for aspies?

Had my parents not been alive, during the DX, I'd have had the label autistic.

And I've seen the labels of people being discussed by disagreeing professionals more than once. For some they change after a while. The labels say less and less for me.
Autistic spectrum, and a personal profile makes a lot more sense.
