I miss rock hunting. one thing i hate about living in a volcanic field is, there isnt a whole lot of diversity in the rocks makeup here

Used to have a rock collection as a kid, but not so interested anymore. I most remember having a sandstone with little black bits that looked like a chocolate chip cookie. Perfect shape and size too.

Mine was mostly stuff picked up off river banks. Someone did get me one of those kits with the different minerals with the labels and info. Remember liking the pyrite the best.

We had a rock polisher for awhile, but I don't think we ever got around to using it.

I did have a couple of small rocks that I kept with my dollhouse. One looked like a little steak and the other was cake-shaped,
so I used to put them on my tiny toy dishes and pretend they were dinner!

Even as a thin child I was preoccupied with food.

Not I! I have to start walking again, and I have to lay off the fatty foods and get in shape!
