A chipped river stone. Greyish on the outside, sandy brown on the inside. Surprisingly light-weight when I kicked it, so I picked it up and put it at the base of a young pine tree. And honourable spot for an honourable rock.

I found a stray cat.  He was an adorable black and white longhair.  I went to coax him out of the bushes, but I think he ran off or he was feral.  Maybe he was just shy.  He looked too well-fed to be feral.

Large piece of countertop for a shelf project.
Some scrap.
half dead plant sitting next to countertop.
Yet another bike before the trash truck got it, in nice shape.



Plant after some water last night, it's looking 100% better this morning.

Yesterday I found that rain mixed with hail still can feel warm and soft, if the summer pour-down is impressive enough.

Three big boxes of oatmeal marked down at the grocery store.  Yea Me!  We love oatmeal for b'fast.  It's one of the things cbc won't eat so we don't have to share.   :moon:
