Today I found out I should not shop while sick because I got the two things I really needed and 5 comfort items I totally didn't need but felt imperative to buy in the moment.  :facepalm2:

Found the other day:

A couple vacuums, a huge aluminum racing rim (scrap), a huge wind spinner top piece

The wind spinner made me happy, there's been an empty pole on the hill for 20+ years. It used to hold up a 3 level wren house my dad put up until the house toppled over in the wind and self destructed. I have tried on an off for the past 3 years to dig the pole out, but my dad cemented it in and must have buried it 4 ft and any attempt has been unsuccessful.

I spied the spinner top at the curb and thought just maybe it would fit...and it slid down in the pole like it had always been there. So I painted the pole.

That is so cool!!!!

I end up buying pj pants and comfy socks when I'm sick because 90% of the time I'm barefoot no matter what the weather the moment i'm indoors. So two pairs of pj pants, 2 pairs of comfy fuzzy socks, and Halls cough drops, the cherry kind. Oh and a McCains Cookies and Cream cake.  :P

Sounds good, fuzzy socks and fuzzy soft pj pants are another addiction here, this house is colder than hell in the winter without carpet...I sneeze less and freeze more :laugh:. I'll have to look for that cake, bet the kid would like it.

I think it's more of a pie but I think it's from McCain's. I got it at Walmart. Stupidly good.

It's the same over here unless I have the woodstove running but we're behind on our wood order this year and haven't called it in yet so I'm layering up instead. lol
