Some parts that fell off Pappy's plane at a tag sale. Both WW2 vintage with radium dials the smaller one is the hottest of the two at just over 10mR/h :parts:

Haven't been out lately and I'm going through withdrawal.

Just to catch things up to speed.
Flipped the Starlett for only $25 after a little clean up...it needed a LOT of work, but it took a terrific photo.

Gave this shade to my neighbor (after trying it out on my lamp to see all the pretty colors), since she collects that stuff.

These bad boys took some help and two trips to stuff in the S10, the homeowner was very happy to get them out of the front yard, since the furnace guy wouldn't take them...I though for 2 seconds about a sensory deprivation tank, the ex thought about a smoker (who the hell is cleaning out all that oil residue...not I )...Both went on Craigslist to a nice couple near the burgh for a few tanks of gas for the truck.

A lot of times if things need a lot of work it's best to move them fast and let the buyer do it,  when you do extensive repairs it can be tough to get get back your labor without holding the item a long time.  I see the oil tanks on Craigslist frequently but it always looks like too much work especially that I work alone most of the time,  the granite counter top pieces where bad enough(one about 200lbs the other 100) and were on the second floor of the house I was working on

Yep, with me it's a time factor too...I don't have enough time, and I just don't have the room for things to set around until I can find the time...which never seems to happen.  :zombiefuck:

The tanks were actually not as bad as I though they would be (first time there), they are pretty light when empty, we spun the legs off, stood them each on end and tipped them onto the tailgate and slid them into the bed... definitely not a one person deal though...hardest part was probably carrying them out of the yard and making sure not to mess up the grass.

2 Bikes (1 Mongoose 24" with a bent wheel, and another pink 24" mountain bike)
2 Metal plant stands (matching)
1 Razor scooter
& 1 leaf blower identical to the one I found earlier this year.

...and I actually passed up a nice sized broken granite countertop myself this weekend.

God awful lemon yellow color. :P

I've never seen ugly granite, until now. :GA:

The trash gods were obviously fucking with me.

More walnuts. Got a call inviting me to search the last ones of the season, that had fallen during the Wednesday storm.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!
