Yesterday, an empty single serve box of frosted mini wheats inside a wall I had drilled into on an addition that was built 10 years ago

A couple of cute ceramic green flower pots, a huge ass ceiling fan with fancy blades, and a toaster oven.

Last night I found a couple of cute birdhouses and....wait for it....

a vacuum. :autism:

Found myself in bed, unable to get up at 7, with a sore throat, and aching muscles and such.  :P

Yes, I like that. I want it to work without interruptions from now on.

Let's hope so. Although I still want to move to another host.

Yesterday, I found a scarf in the thrift-shop. Not just any scarf, but the one I lost December 1996. I had made it myself, from a nice piece of fabric. And there it was, undeniably mine. A bit less soft, someone has enjoyed it for all that time. And, now I bought it back.
Don't know if I will wear it much, but I do have it back, and I am pleased about that. I could hardly believe my eyes, when I saw it.

Awesome.  8)

My mom used to have this really tall rattan wicker vase. She stuffed it with newspaper in the bottom to weigh it down and would put tall pampas grass in it. She sold it at a yard sale years ago. Years later I was talking with her on the phone and wished I had one like it for a bare corner of the room.

Went out trashing the next morning and guess what I found? She told me to check the bottom...and yep, it still had the newspapers stuffed in the bottom from the early 90's.  Unfortunately wicker of any kind is a bad idea with my cat and it didn't survive for more than a year or so.

Cool.

Just like you, I had mentioned the scarf to my daughters, only two days before I found it back.

I will admit I am somewhat of a believer in that law of attraction stuff.

I have taken to voicing my wants...like "I would love a tan sectional for downstairs"...it's surprising how many things have just "showed up".

Of course the large stacks of money have failed to appear ...but as for the other stuff, I'm running out of wants.

Oddly enough I do the same thing with similar results.  Also if I breakdown and go and buy something new or at full price I am guaranteed to find several of them in the following weeks for free or very cheep.
