Ah, the page number.

Seconded.  :zombiefuck:

QV I love shopping at thrift shops.  :autism:  Although the prices are getting higher and higher even there now since the rest of the world caught on to them.

Crisis makes that less is brought in too. And, what is brought in, on average, is less good in quality, compared with what was brought in couple of years ago.
Even on charity jumble sales you can see that difference happening.
Crisis also seems to make thrift stores pop up everywhere. More of them makes that each has less.

Got a ticket for a free food parcel, went to the place I had to go to to collect it, and found they were offering me free clothing too. Got a pair of kecks and some really really comfy warm fuzzy-lined gloves, as well as a new pair of slippers while I was waiting for my food aid package.

Which incidentally was pretty good nosh. Got plenty canned fruit, including a HUGE tin of canned mango slices in syrup. Oh god, that was delish. I LOVE mangoes, fresh, canned, juice, anything.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

That an old tool I bought a few weeks ago for $2.50 is rather rare after showing to the leading expert at the flea market.  He has seen only one other and he owns it he advised me not to sell it

Tshirts - how typically fatty fat Americans  :M

Yes, Lit.  I am fat.  I'm 4 feet 10 inches and weigh more than PA who's just at 6 feet tall.

But:

When you're fat and poor,
You have to buy what's at the thrift store.

I rewrote a publishing feature last week but found out today that I had inadvertently introduced a nasty little bug in the code. Took me some time to spot the likely cause but I still don't know for sure.

I hate it when that happens.

It's a center gauge/square the rule is Starrett but I am not sure if it's original to it, it is from before 1900.  He says it's worth a minimum of $100 but probably much more

Wow. That's no Starrett that I've ever seen.

I pulled up this...similar, but not the same. Ad I'm pretty sure is wrong though...probably Union tool company, Orange, Mass....not Orange tool co.

Nice find.
