I think it is doing something. Seem to procrastinate a little less, but, who knows, I may just have a good day today.

The shutting down of my brain was later in the evening than it usually is.

But, one day, what does one day mean?

Also wonder what the effect is of dividing my day in strict 4 hour blocks. That is a defining of time that I do not usually have that strict. Could create an effect too.

Will see how it is, after a whole week.  :nerdy:

Do you have the time-released version?

No, regular version.

I like the time-released one. It works better for me.

And Lestat--I love Concerta but it gives me breathing problems. Some non-essential component in it, says my doctor.

So, you are hoping for a generic brand version, without said non-essential component?

Non-essential components can be truly dangerous, for some people.

Yes, definitely the case for some people. For instance, there seems to be lactose in almost everything, and quite a lot of people are lactose intolerant. Not dangerous, but certainly not pleasant either, and for those people, it must be  tricky finding ANY meds that are usable.

Have seen someone with an allergic reaction on non-essential components in chemotherapy twice. Not nice at all.
For one it was "just" utterly painful, all the nerve-endings kinda burned. She was in agony.
Other man, nearly died, because of the reaction. He had to get a different kind of chemo, with more side-effects, and less effective, but, without that bloody component.

I took my meds today, btw.

I would like it if I had that option but most time release things don't seem to work for me, they tend to just dump the full dose at one time.

I have tried Ritalin but I felt zombified on it so I never even tried Concerta. I think that is really expensive anyway. There is no extended release version of Dexamphetamine here. The only other option we have here is Strattera and I am already taking something that is supposedly similar to it, reboxetine.

Took my morning ones.

I have Ritalin. It doesn't have the nasty side effects, for some reason.

Odeon - do you have to adjust the timing of your meds since you're in Canada?

Concerta and Ritalin are both ridiculously expensive here.

Strattera is cheaper but it completely fucks me up.

Yes, but the meds are jet-lagged and can't sleep.

The generic brand of Methylphenidate is more than 8 times cheaper than Concerta here. And Strattera is even more expensive than Concerta, what I can find.
