I have done that with dexamphetamine (taken my dose, forgotten and then took it again) and it was not a pleasant experience.

I count out a day's worth of pills each morning and put them into a container.  That way, I always know how many I've taken and how many I've still to take.

Yeah I do that now for the most part too (got small container in my uni bag) and it helps. I made the mistake of taking two doses when I first started taking meds for ADHD.
