Strikes me as pretty stupid (the score line)

The bit about not breaking them, are they some sort of extended release formulation? if not, then my guess as to the reason for said exhortation, would be that since Li requires close monitoring of plasma levels, if the pills are IR, and broken, then there is more surface area available. From experience with various other kinds of pills, if they are added to water, or some other solvent, even if not actually crushed, they do break down faster, if added as chunks of tablet rather than finely powdered. This of course, will lead to higher peak concentrations of Li+, once one has been taking whatever drug (ignoring of course, lipophilicity of some drugs resulting in their being stored in fatty tissue, but in this case, not much of an issue. But once steady state has been reached, peaks and troughs are undesirable almost always. And particularly with a drug such as lithium.
I don't know if they are extended release but I take 450mgs twice a day. Once a tablet broke when I was pressing it out of the foil. I still took it anyway, no harm was done. I don't have a blood test very often, psych says once a year is enough since I have been taking it for nearly 4 years now.

Took my meds as I should.

Thinking when I go back to the doctor, to ask to go back on Seretide (asthma med). I'm taking a newish med called Breo for my asthma, the advantage of it being that I only have to take it once a day. But it's not doing its job. I have an annoying cough and I'm always wheezing just a little bit. Thankfully, I'm ok with exercise but I carry Ventolin just in case.

We have Breo in the States too.  Sorry it isn't doing its job for you.  >:(

Thanks cbc.

It is also annoying that I only get 30 puffs from each canister (not sure if that's the right word). With Seretide, it had 100 puffs and so lasted a lot longer.

Whilst I am not asthmatic, I have a few inhalers, ventolin type stuff although I've never once used it. I keep them  because the bitch from hell  for some reason hada huge load of scripts for penicillin group antibiotics although I am badly allergic to the stuff, so to me, they need to be handled with a whole bunch of protective clothing before I can make  use of them, and handle like some of the nastier hazards in the lab if they are to be used for making plates.

Pain meds, yes, gabapenturd..errm gabapentin, ahem...yes, lowering dose to get off it as I don't like it at all, need to take some clonidine so as to have a steady hand, and my antiseizure meds. Because I'm about to fire up the torch and do a bit of metalworking. Just went up to the lab and managed to root out some additional silver bullion I KNEW I had knocking around somewhere in case there's not enough Ag to fill my mold.

Yes I did, including the omeprazole that's potentially making me shorter. :yoda: :P

Doesn't seem to have done me any harm. Used to take omeprazole, now am taking pantoprazole instead which is meant to be more effective according to my GP.

Just an evening top up of morphine, and a muscle relaxant plus clonidine.

Unless nicotine and a carrier bag full of bag fulls of haribo bubblegum jelly bottle candies count:P
