yes

and today's shot was one of the least painful. it helped...man, that mouse seems really trapped - it keeps running back and forth on the shelf. Maybe it's in a panic.

now there's a meme for you - a mouse doing the panic dance.

...to warm up the medication.

Finally! It jumped.

What are you on thats causing pain? Just generally speaking, taking care to avoid extravasation of whatever is being taken.

Some substances seem to be worse than others for that. In my experience, morphine has to be one of the worst, if I miss a bit and dump some of a shot into tissue instead of a vein it burns like fury; producing a large patch of hives, it doesn't last too long. Although compared with, for instance, oxycodone, which causes almost none of the stinging, smarting and itching that comes with missing with morphine, H, dipropionylmorphine and their close relatives.

What I hate though, is a miss in the feet, unless I quickly apply some corticosteroid ointment and a dab of voltarol (topical NSAID diclofenac gel), as it leaves the foot sore and makes wearing shoes no fun at all if a miss makes them swell. I already have enough annoyance with my feet and ankles swelling, due, I think, to pompholyx, as that leaves my feet/ankles all swollen and painful during a flareup.

It's eprex for anemia. One more month of weekly shots to go, I think. The mistake was letting it get to room temperature which in our house is around 65F. This time I put it inside my shirt for a few minutes before the shot and after we left it out for the prescribed 15 minutes.

took my other meds right on time today.

Thats EPO-α is't it? No personal experience with it, I take it that it stings a bit?

Just make sure you get plenty red meat in your diet if your anaemic (assuming iron deficiency of course).,

One thing that bugs me, as far as irritation due to meds goes, is the way I can feel the burning/stinging up 'behind' the nose (what it feels like anyway) because of the histamine release. I used to get the same thing happen when I took chlormethiazole as well, although it appears that a tolerance to that particular effect has developed, I always used to feel a sharp prickling up inside the bridge of my nose as it takes effect.

Strattera, multivitamin, L-Lysine, all down the hatch.  Took ibuprofen earlier.

I did, yes. And I started taking eye drops to take care of the eye infection.

Can you see any improvement?   :facepalm2:

That's the first step on the road to drinking.

Drink lots of it; you won't need alcohol, or better yet, get some with codeine.
I once saw a guy in the ER who was high from dextromathorphan. He had the widest pupils in bright flourescent light. He'd gotten hold of some pure stuff that was stolen from a pharma firm. Usually what they do is drink a lot of cough syrup. I guess he didn't realize the pure stuff would be so strong.
