Curlers can be uncomfortable if they're pulling at the hair.  :thumbdn:
And then to think many people slept/sleep with them.

I used to use them myself, in junior high school, to curl the front of my hair.  :autism:

My mother rolled my hair in damp strips of fabric every night, before I went to bed when I was little. She wanted a girl with curls.

I remember one night when mum wasn't home and my dad had to do the night ritual. Those huge hands, trying to get that fine hair done on the tiny head of a kindergarten girl.

Yes, I took my meds. And yes, my mum had those curlers.

I had them also.  In New Orleans they were called "poppyotts" (Phonetic)

i wish i had some of my meds to take but the primary care we found refused to refill any of them, including my expired epi-pen, my inhalers, and my adhd meds. i did take all my other meds from  the specialist and my supplements. by far the most fun is the xylitol gum prescribed by my dentist.

Because he thinks he's better than my doctors in the U.S. who diagnosed me. He was unable to get into med school in the U.S. (he's from MA) and failed his residency in psychiatry even in Canada. When I questioned it he got defensive, but this was after he claimed that I did not have ADHD, but rather was depressed and anxious. Of course his one year certificate is better than my psychiatrist's over 20 years of experience in treating things like ADHD. The one year certificate is what you get when you can't pass the residency requirement. Since he didn't listen to my history he didn't know that I spent years working in the ER with residents of all sorts, so he didn't realize I knew his deal.

He kept saying that I didn't need a new epi-pen because they are good after expiration, and I guess he didn't believe that I have asthma. Both the epi-pen and the inhaler are stimulants and he may have thought that I was using them to get high. Luckily my specialist believed me and wrote the scrip for the inhalers - I caught a virus that exacerbated the asthma and was having real trouble. I won't need the epi=pen up here until summer - it's for bee stings. As for the ADHD meds, let's just say that we are suffering.

I did take my supplements today. They take the edge off.

I always take my meds.  When I don't take them bad things happen.

Just took the last of my old batch of Strattera.  One more batch before I need a new script.  :heisenberg:

Yes. Although the spazz meds no longer do much good. I build up a tolerance very quickly.

What kind of things? :orly:

On my medication, I am a happy functioning, intelligent person with some barely noticable Asperger traits.  Without the drugs I am a nervy, volatile paranoid with withdrawal psychosis and I "suffer" from Aspergers.

I admit that this is not exactly "bad" on a cosmic scale, but it is certainly uncomfortable from my perspective.
