Although I didn't take my oxycodone IRs, fuckers didn't give me any, said I need to see my doc first, because as far as opioids go, only the morphine is on repeat.
Although its no great problem, I only got my refills today, so it isn't as though lacking the oxy will cause me to withdraw or owt, I slammed about 15 (rx'd 2xtwice a day
) 30mg morphine sulfate tabs first thing I did when I got home after picking them up, along with the very last of my coke (mmm...speedballs...naughty, very naughty, but very very nice
:D) and popped a couple of chlormethiazole caps (an old, antiquated, and by all accounts excellent, barbiturate-esque sedative/hypnotic. Smells funky, melts plastic but packs a punch like a runaway tank)
I've been meaning to get hold of my doc anyhow about the oxy IRs, as I'm angling for pethidine instead.
Haven't yet taken any tizanidine (a muscle relaxant that blocks noradrenaline release that I take for the constant, un-ceasing cramp and over-tight tendons in the back of my leg), but haven't needed to yet, as I've spent much of the day in a relaxed, fuzzy floppy heap, nodding out on the morphine, so I haven't been in any pain, for a very welcome change.
Clonidine? yes.
Chlorphenamine-yes.
Fexofenadine-no.
Just remembered my antibiotic now.
Ranitidine-some, not all.
Voltarol (diclofenac) spray-a couple squirts way earlier, could do with more methinks.
Hysoscine (scopolamine)-butylbromide peripherally selective quaternary ammonium salt-a little earlier on, not used any of the CNS-active slow release patches today.
Gaviscon-no.
Omeprazole (proton pump inhibitor), not yet.
Xylometazoline nasal decongestant drops/spray-can't remember, haven't needed it yet.
Mometasone (strong, long acting corticosteroid), no not yet, need to, don't want to, procrastinating, or I would procrastinate if I could be fucking well bothered. I think I will do after I shoot up again and it wears off later, or might make some dipropionylmorphine, (think smack on steroids, slightly, ever so slightly slower to come on than brown is, but far longer acting, a little more than twice and a half times the potency of H, very, very strong, and very very good stuff, makes plain ol' unesterified, vanilla morphine sulfate look like fucking baby formula by comparison); and after I dispose of the batch of Tollen's reagent I made last night for the purposes of creating a silver mirror on the inside of a test tube, and test a couple of things for the presence of an aldehyde moiety. Its a solution of ammoniacal, basified silver nitrate, that plates out metallic silver in the presence of an aldehyde but not a ketonic carbonyl group, with the odd exception, such as ketones with a hydroxyl group alpha to the C=O carbon. Useful versatile reagent, if a bit expensive to make, what with needing silver nitrate but it cannot be stored, due to the potential for formation of silver nitride, an extremely shock-sensitive primary HE. So the Tollen's needs to go and be made safe, and get reprocessed for the silver content to refine it down to metallic silver, or back to AgNO3.
