I think some people interpret that as off the wagon, since when you get intoxicated you fall back off the wagon. But I prefer my interpretation and visualization of an old wagon being pulled by horses with barrels of drink and a bunch of intoxicated, merry men hanging on to it.

About ten minutes ago, I popped the top off a cold beer.

My timetable is a bit off, right now, I suppose. I was going for tequila, until I realized it was almost time to get the kids to school.
