Actually Vermouth straight up, reminds me of cough syrup that I used to get as a kid when I was sick.   Of course the main ingredient was alcohol back then.   Ah, the 50's aND 60'S ......................GOOD TIMES GOOD TIMES!

Finishing off a Löwenbräu Oktoberfestbier. Smooth, malty, decent strength (6.1% abv) and pretty drinkable in bulk I expect.

Now guzzling Joseph Holt's Sixex, an English Strong Ale - and a fucking good one. Dried fruit, liquorice, smoky malt, sticky sweet and smooth. Great winter warmer.
