Haven't had Landlord bottled before (being lucky enough to live in Taylor's territory) or on cask either for a few years - I now remember why I rated it so highly. Fucking great session bitter - if you ever come across this, give it a go - its Madonna's favourite beer apparently. She might be a ropey old leotard abuser but apparently there's fuck all up with her taste buds. :eyebrows: Hoppy as fuck but perfectly balanced.  :glug:

One of the things that seem to suck about the US is your beer and whisky culture -- or rather lack thereof. The only thing that's worse than American whisky is Canadian. It tastes like coloured water with some alcohol in it.  :(

The only way I could choke it down was mixing it with tabasco.
Still, pretty foul.

Nope. I don't tend to seek out golden ales either though, I certainly wouldn't look for imports - I tend to prefer premium bitters, IPA and strong english ales. Occasionally I come across a good one though, and Summer Lightning is a particularly zingy brew.

Good for you! I was going to ask if you had discovered Coopers, yet.
 :checkout:

I'm having coffee, which is unusual. I usually don't drink coffee during the day, but I'm extremely agitated, and it well help me to calm myself.

Which Staropramen is your favorite. I have only had it once, but I'm not confident that the store had freshly rotating stock. I suspect it was overshelved, so I was not impressed as you can imagine. Since I have begun to drink beer, again, I am interested in exploring rich flavors. I am going out later and I have my mind on a big new import store, that opened recently. I'm hoping they have some beer that I haven't tried, yet, too.
