I'm officially among the beer drinking public, this week. Scr'eap is a witness. I had one of these, earlier today:



My neighbor, who is a constant Budweiser drinker, offered me his last Dirty Dick's, today. I took it. I understand from a little research, that this one is probably old and out of season, but it was delicious, still.

Now drinking: Asda (brewed by Shepherd Neame) Whitechapel Porter. Spicy, liquorice flavours, dark and well toasted malts. Not three bad. :beergrin:

Darwin Rolling Hitch IPA. Attention beer snobs - beg steal or 'borrow' a bottle of this IPA brewed using American Amarillo hops and English brewing techniques - very good shit. great balance of creamy and toffee malt flavours, grapefruit, pine and lemon hops. Seriously good beer - why it has taken me so long to sample this cunt I have no idea. If I'd known it was so good I'd have been drinking it for ages.  8) :glug: :glug: :glug: :beergrin:

Greatly enjoyed the Riggwelter - the name is from Yorkshire dialect 'riggwelted' - from Old Norse (rygg velte), meaning a sheep stuck on its back that can't get up. Appropriate.  8)

Had a bottle of Jennings' Sneck Lifter, another rich, roasted strong ale,  just finishing off a pint of Wells Bombardier Satanic Mills, a variant of Bombardier with a darker, sweeter profile with dark roasted malts. Both very nice. :beergrin:
