One of the greatest playwrights of XX century. Sample follows:

Logician: A cat has four paws.
Old Gentleman: My dog had four paws.
Logician: Then it's a cat.
Old Gentleman: So my dog is a cat?
Logician: And the contrary is also true.
Rhinoceros (1959)

Logician: All cats die.  Socrates is dead.  Therefore, Socrates is a cat.
Ibid (1959)

We are meant to be immortal, and yet we die. It's horrible; it can't be taken seriously.

It is not the answer that enlightens, but the question.
Découvertes (1970), as quoted in Choosing the Future : The Power of Strategic Thinking

It's not a certain society that seems ridiculous to me, it's mankind.
As quoted in Encyclopedia of World Biography (1998) edited by Suzanne Michele Bourgoin, Paula Kay Byers, Gale Research Inc, p. 132

God is dead. Marx is dead. And I don’t feel so well myself.
As quoted in Jewish American Literature : A Norton Anthology (2000) by Jules Chametzky, "Jewish Humor", p. 318

Quote
Alex179: Everything that is living is dying.   It will stop dying when it is dead.
"Earth is the cradle of Humanity. But one cannot live in a cradle forever."--Konstantin Tsiolkovsky
The law is the law. Rules are rules. God is God. A is A. Black is black. I want my baby back.
