I just looked at some while lessening the Bush speech. I will see if can find one or two models I liked on the Internet.

What kind are you looking for? compact or slr? Canon and Nikon are the ones with the best reputation.

Looking at some Canon models like Canon EOS 30D, Canon PowerShot G7, and Sony CyberShot H5 and a couple others.

30D is meant to be pretty good, depends what your price range is and what you want.. I don't like compacts personally,so the 30D is the only one there I recognise. Nikon D50 and D70 have a good reputation also, as does the new D80 which I considered. Never had a Canon personally as the build quality isn't as good to my knowledge.

In the digital age, that is true. I still have two old Canon cameras that are strong as tractors, though. One is an old F model from the early seventies, which has never missed a beat and the other is an FTb, which I have actually use as a mace, swinging it by its strap, to get away from a gang of roughs who wanted to steal my camera bag and all my goodies. I made the biggest one think I had given up and they were going to get my cameras, held it out by its strap to him, then dropped it down swinging it over my head and coming down on top of his. no more arguments from him. Two more lighter swings and two more gangbangers bleeding. The other two were not interested in anymore of that game and ran away.

I really liked San Antonio, but it's not a safe place.

Trying to wake up. Had an odd dream. Keep feeling totally drained lately and no idea why as I never felt this bad before xmas. All that has changed is I had a week where I drank alcohol and I am going to bed later and getting up later.
