Don't worry, Kevv.

About four years ago, when I realized that I was autistic and after trying several SSRIs and other prescriptions and giving up on all of them, I stopped everything completely, just to see what would happen. I'll be damned, but I was better off. Things didn't seem to get to me as much, anymore. I am stronger! Go Figure ...

I'm still strong. I made that comment out of frustration with my wife's cleaning freak out frenzy. My mom's coming to town and, at my wife's whip cracking, I'm cleaning behind the 'fridge, and I'm cleaning behind stove, and I'm cleaning under all the sinks, and I'm pulling out kitchen drawers, and I'm organizing the pantry, and I'm rearranging closets, and on and on ... If I could only get that whip away from her ...

To be fair she's working twice as hard as I am during all this.

I am perfectly fine and support the use of alcohol and drugs for purposes of wanton debauchery but I don't suggest it for any other reason.  You know how some people are "social drinkers", I discourage even that.  I think it is a bad idea to attatch a purpose to alcohol or drugs because it is likely to make you partially dependant on them for that purpose.  If you abuse drugs and alcohol just for pleasure at least you know it is simply that, abuse, and you aren't trying to justify it as something else.  And therefore you can do it more responsibly.
