the printer can weight...i am adjusting the counterbalance on the tone arm of the ion usb turntable. if i can figure out how i will post an mp3 download so DD can evaluate it.
What is DD? Are you talking about me (ME???!?!?!?) evaluating your vinyl ripping process?
That makes no sense! (I hope I have misunderstood.)
If that is what you are asking, it would be like buying a book and having someone else read it for you and having
them tell you what to think of it.
While their input might make for inspiring conversation (edit - I doubt that there is anything like conversionation in normal use. durrrr....), having both read the same book, what they have "ripped" from the book will actually have little bearing upon what you are able to "rip" from the book.
The only way to asses a musical reproduction process with any validity is to sit quietly, with no interruption, and listen in the way you feel most open, receptive and comfortable. Listen carefully.
Since no two people use the same ears or cerebral patterns, it is only you and your set of resources that can determine whether or not the relative quality of a music reproduction process adequately meets your expectation and degree of compromise tolerance.
No one can do that for you. If you try to take a shortcut, now, it will be work wasted, which will need to be repeated in the future.
