that's evil.  get some olbas oils pastilles - they taste like shit, but they're brilliant (and cheap, and natural, but don't get the blackcurrant ones, cos they're full of aspartame).

I'll pass. Have been pinching my daughter's asthma inhaler, though at this point I can mostly breathe again, and guzzling cough syrup, ibuprofen and decongestants. I blame small people.  :P

Anyway, aspartame isn't summat I'm worried about - I drink several cans of diet coke a day.

currently chilling out and not going to sleep.

Just got home from lunch with Amy's mom.

A B2 stealth bomber did a flyover while we were standing in the parking lot, it was scary as fuck seeing it drop out of the low cloud cover... especially since we had no idea is was going to be showing up.  Probably at an altitude of 3,000 feet.

My wife's cousin flew them up until just a few years ago.  Her grandmother who is over 90 has a photo of her sitting in one :o  I have never seen any of the big ones like that but I have seen the smaller F-117

It was pretty impressive. 

In Kansas, at my college, they have an air/space museum, and have an SR71 Blackbird INSIDE the lobby.  It's amazing.  When they were bringing it to the museum when it was being built, they flew in and landed it on Main street.  They built the building around it.

Here it is... they need to dust it:

It's a really great museum, they have the Apollo 13 command module on display, as well as the Liberty Bell 7, which Gus Grissom freaked out in, blew the hatch too early, and it sank to the bottom of the ocean.  They pulled it up and restored it there on-site.

Across town is the space graveyard that all the locals know about, but isn't on any of the tour guide stuff, a huge field filled with rocket engines, and all kinds of cool crap.  Not only that, but there's an enormous salt mine under the town, and they store a whole shit ton of stuff down there.  It's one of the most secure and elusive underground storage facilities in the world.   It is the largest single storage facility for movie and television film internationally.  I think I remember hearing that every episode of the Johnny Carson show is down there.

My Calculus teacher talked them into having a special showing of Apollo 13 in the IMAX dome especially for us.  It was pretty sweet.
