that's a good question. when i first started teaching, it was partly because i disagreed with the education system, and wanted to fight from within, sort of thing. i couldn't work for a company i had such major issues with, though, as i wouldn't want to do anything to add to their profits, not even for a tiny while, unless i had a definite strategy for causing them much pain.
