It's not that hard, my problem is I'm too lazy to practice.  I can strum a couple of tunes decently, but, I really want to do some finger picking type work.  But, motivating myself to practice is hard.   :-\

It could be worse.

You could REALLY want to play well with ALL your soul and watch growing up as all your uncles teach half of your cousins to begin to play well and you give it your best effort for more than three fourths of your life, only to discover along the way that it does not really matter how much you WOODSHED or practice your ass off, you will NEVER improve over the plateau you reached with all your accomplished friends when you were just out of your teens.
