Went for a long walk next to the beach, am now having a lemon vodka.

Summer is nearly here.  It was hot today, but nice.

thinking that the state of intensity right now is rather sad.

:agreed:  But can we do anything about it? (are we really willing to).

No, McJ is gone.  I think that's part of the problem.

And dare I say it, even losing Lit changed things.

I think this started long before McJ left- I know for a fact that he saw problems here and I suspect that's what gave him the push he needed to leave to concentrate on his family life.  Maybe its all down to the black and white thinking and TOM issues??  I don't know but it seems that there's never any middle ground to be found any more and if we can't find that then the whole thing is completely fucked.

Fucked seems to be a recurring word of late.  And not in its most pleasurable context unfortunately!

I'm quietly hopeful that a decent outcome can be achieved. It won't happen on its own though.  :-\

I know that- i just wish people realised that I do too and that I've not been trying to lynch anyone or argue just for the sake of it.  I really want us to all be able to work together without all the pointless bickering about every issue and I think its important that we see how we can make everyone feel like their opinions are listened to (even if we don't agree with them), and not just automatically written off because of who they are.   Even if this isn't what is happening- if people feel that it is I think we need to take an open minded look at why they might think that.
