Thanks, guys.
I believe we had a mixed blessing/stroke of "luck" kind of thing with the kids. On Monday, my son got sick, again with this stomach flu that's going around, here, and today my daughter got sick. With the kids being a little sick and more concerned with their own internals, the early part of their grieving was tempered to a small degree. But their being sick has made it even more difficult for me to get the little dog in the ground. I miss my "best friend" and I want him buried and done so we can all move on, at this "little house on the prairie".

For now, I'm showing her the two Bambi movies.
