BBC article: Is it OK to collect Nazi memorabilia?
« on: September 17, 2009, 09:21:37 AM »
I have some Nazi stuff, including a Catholic Prayerbook that was issued to the Wehrmacht in 1939. That doesn't make me a Nazi any more than it makes me a Catholic

You Catholic Nazi you :P

My wife told me that a lot of her friends would would not be pleased about the stuff I have but I didn't realize there was such an out cry against it.  What are we supposed to destroy it all like nothing happened? Ignoring history is a bad thing to me that's what it is and it holds no other meaning.  Besides most of the stuff was taken as war trophies by the winners and not held in some sort of cherished memories of the Nazi's

I think nazi stuff is cool. Nazi aesthetics are awesome. The uniforms, red, brown and black, mass meetings, banners, spotlights, iron crosses, swastikas etc. It's gorgeous. I don't care of people hate me for it.
