Long live Marxism-Leninism--the triumphant banner of Great October, the powerful ideological weapon of the workers of all nations in the struggle against imperialism, for the victory of socialism and communism!
The only Communism was only a Dictatorship's that failed the People by not really having a Economy.

That was the down fall of Eastern Europe and Soviet Communism.

That wasn't Communism though. Not as Marx defined it. His idea was a sort of Utopia in which everyone was equal and worked for the common good and the government provided services. But he recognized in order to achieve this a less than ideal transitional period would need to occur. The propaganda of the US after WWII, and especially during the '80s twisted what Marx had intended Communism to be!

Pure Capitalism and Pure Communism both would fail.   We don't have a pure Capitalist system here.... and a true Marxist government has yet to really exist.  People are shit, and to expect them to go against human nature and work for the common good is both naive and stupid.   There might be a good deal of unselfish types that will work for the greater good, but it will all be spoiled by the freeloaders and the corrupt individuals that take advantage of the system.
:P   Internets are super serious.

^Precisely!

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't aspire to our lofty goals. Capitalism is far more susceptible to the greedy self interests of the human species.

People have to remember that the system is a mongrel of various things, it's too mixed to be called proper "capitalism". Ireland here for example is classed as capitalist, but it's very socialist in other aspects (like worker's unions, credit unions and social welfare).

While Communism/Socialism/Anarchy/etc. sounds great on paper, in reality it'll never work due to a funny thing called "human nature". Make everyone equal and others will still manipulate, control and be arseholes in general. Anarchy I take a great dislike of, since it'll change absolutely nothing because there's no laws to stop laws and thus the system will not change. A government can easily claim to be anarchist but still do their usual thing without trouble. :zoinks:

^Again, precisely!

But we still shouldn't aspire to such lofty goals. Settling for the status quo is no answer at all.

There is actually already one perfectly working anarchy: International Relations. The key is that communism, socialism, anarchy and (yes) democracy tend to lose most of the core ideas as soon as you scale them past 1000. Yet there exist good examples of all systems working on a small scale. However in most of those cases, people are not forced to submit to a system, they are given a choice. If that choice were to exist, most of the above systems would work a lot better.

The type of "anarchy" that some people want does not work because they expect no order at all, which to me is impossible. Anarchy (chaos) encoded in the fractal nature of the universe itself, along with order. Chaos and order work together like a seesaw, slightly drifting from one side to the other. You cannot completely get rid of either of them, doing so would make the universe cease to exist. They are the same thing since both allow each other to work simultaneously.

Take a tree, a perfect example of chaos and order working together. The controlled fractal nature is there, with repeating patterns and self similarity; but chaos is also there, making slight/drastic variations on location/sizes of the twigs/bark/leaves of the tree.

I think you fundementally don't understand what anarchy is. Anarchy, is the absense of government, not the absence of power relations. It does not neccesarily mean a lack of order, or chaos. The key underpinning thing is the right to choose to be governed, rather than have a government and society imposed on you. You might want to look up the difference between power and authority to get the distinction.
