Haven't really done anything to it. I think I'm going to sell it, it's a bigger project than I really need or want right now. Works out okay though. It's almost doubled in value since I bought it.

Thinking about a 2004 F-350 superduty V8 6.0L diesel.

234,000 miles on it though.  Not sure how much more I can expect even if running well right now, and I know nothing about working on diesel.

Depends on how it was driven/maintained, 400,000+ if well maintained is not unheard of. You're at the half-life mark though, chances are it will need work on the injectors soon.

I know that when someone says, "Trust me,"  we all have red flags waving in our faces. Generally we tend to ignore those people, but stop and think for a moment.

You really do not want to sell this car unless there is no way that you can keep it financially.

I toss over the "trust me card"  because I know from past experience; you will regret selling it! Mine was totally a piece of shit, mechanically and needed everything replaced (except for the fucking awesome leather interior with its ever loving hardwood pieces) but it looked so cool and it drove nice when it ran, but aside ...

It was one of the coolest cars that anyone can possibly own.  PERIOD!!

Trust me, keep it if you can and restore it back to perfection when you have the want/ability/NEED to take on a larger project.
