Maybe I just need a nice replica. The fakes seem to be common.

If I should go for a Shturmanskie watch on eBay.

If you want it, you should go for it.

Wondering if I should buy a CD tomorrow.

Bank CD (certificate of deposit) or music CD?

Music. And I didn't. I should have.

 I didn't buy bread yesterday.  I should have.  :facepalm2:

Turns out it was a fake. Lots of fakes around and I sort of knew that this was too good to be true. :(

How long will it take the PR to realize she can't afford to live on her own so she can get a dog?  She's waiting for me to help her look at apartment classifieds.

It never went that far. I didn't buy it cos I noticed the dial was wrong.

I bought an anniversary edition of the same watch instead. Cool enough, methinks.

Jeez, think I made some sort of 'faux pas' half an hour ago. :zoinks:

Um,  how to phrase this? Well, I was walking down the stairs to the bathroom to take a shower and the moment I opened the door to the attic/top-floor the draft blew the curtain away and it stopped covering the open window for awhile there.

Thing was, I was naked and there were 4 neighbours, standing about 6/7 meters away from the window, talking to each other facing my place's direction. The moment this happened someone of that group, a woman, yelled 'HEY!' in a way like 'HEY, don't do that'/'HEY, I'm caught by surprise but don't like it much'. A mother most likely.

Um, although I'm not sure, I couldn't see their faces, only their legs and feet pointing my way, I do think the 'HEY!' was her spontaneous reaction to seeing me there and then. The timing, curtain move/her yelling, strongly indicates it was.

Well, I'm not ashamed of my body but that was weird. Hope they'll remember the coincidental silliness of it later on.

There was a guy in Florida who was arrested for that back when I lived there.  I always thought that indecent exposure was bullshit if you were in your own house and someone had to look in your window to get offended.

^ Ditto mostly but it depends a bit on the situation. There are streets that have rows of houses where the living rooms kinda face each other. Think I would feel a bit offended if someone across the street had the habit to walk around naked in his/her living room.

My location/housing situation is different but if I were to do that downstairs think my across the street neighbours (single mum with 3 kids, 14~20 y/o)) would feel offended also if one of them saw me 'streak' there. From their balcony they could see parts of my living room. Not out of shyness but due to this possibility I'm never naked downstairs.

Um, wasn't meant to be seen by the earlier mentioned neighbours but they're grown ups. Just hope when encountering the yelling 'HEY'-woman, think I know who she is, she doesn't drop her jaw and gaze at me with twinkles in  her eyes.  :green:

I always thought the Dutch were relaxed about nudity.

Most are, I think. Well, some of 'us' go shopping in the nude wearing only a pair of wooden clogs. Depending on the weather of course.

Nah (surry), but dunno.. think we are more relaxed about it than e.g. folks in the US or China but where on a scale the Dutch go? I have nothing to hide but..

Um? Wait? What?

WOOT! *Jumps on bike, naked*

(Jeez, I couldn't sleep, got out of bed again feeling grumpy and now I'm in a silly mood).
