people are sneezing around me a lot now, i dunno if it's the flu season or there's swine flu in my immediate surroundings. ??? anyway it's annoying when people do that when they bloody know where your mind goes when they achoo. >:( here people rarely even cover their mouths it's so disgusting and rude.

there are no confirmed cases in ireland but i still feel paranoid, i mean people travel, who's to stop some eejit irelandian from visiting mexico and then flying right back and touching my groceries while she is blowing her nose? like that sneezing cashier lady. i dunno where she'd been.

Or if they do cover their mouths/noses, it's with their hand, and their mucoisal ejecta promptly gets deposited on the next thing they touch.

I think I have swine flu  :zombiefuck: I can't stop sneezing and my throat feels all weird  ??? I'm hoping it's the withdrawal effects of discontinuing my SSRI though.

Over here, you're supposed to go to a doctor if you start getting the listed symptoms and you've been exposed to one of the areas where there's been swine flu. There are also health screenings at the airports for international travel.

Here, they tell you to just stay home if your flu symptoms are relatively mild.

Only the really sick people need Tamiflu or Relenza, they say.

I have only had the flu twice and the last time I had it, I couldn't get out of bed to go to the doctor. I had never been that sick before and I haven't since. Had plenty of colds, though.
