Paint should still be sealed on a cane. Some of them scratch rather easily.

Yes, it should be sealed in, but even sealed in, stickers could be quite vulnerable, once the protective lacquer gets scratched. Moisture could seep underneath it. With paint the damage would be restricted to the area the damage in the lacquer is.

It's all just a number.....I turned 60 a couple of month's ago, don't feel much different now than I did at 40!    8)
