What ever happened to license plates?  Every state had there own and you could tell the difference from a distance. Now every state has several.  I like to keep track of the one I see but it's becoming difficult.  Saw this

You would think that they would want a smaller number of types of plates.  Homeland security is giving grant to cities for new police cars but they have to be painted the  way they say.  That is why the black and white police cars are making a come back in my area
