I remember hearing a song where the lyrics are:

"6.66 is one hundredth of the number of the beast"

and thought it was funny how they converted a decimal into a fraction within that song. :P

I received $6.66 as change at a gas station while on a camping trip with my fraternity in South Florida (near Miami).   As we were about to leave the gas station, someone backed into my car and damaged my big brother's aluminum mountain bike that was attached to the back of my car (on a rack with other bikes).   That was a coincidence of course haha.

A few times my purchases have totalled $6.66...I'm not religious, but when that happens,
I usually grab some small item on display at the counter and add it to my bill.  :P

It's a fucking number, people going out of their way to avoid having any kind of association with this number are just as pathetic as those who cancel their hotel reservations if they're on the 13th floor.
