Forgot to mention this in my PM. Do you have a knee brace? I would highly suggest getting one and wearing it every day until your surgery date. Something like this works well:



The ring around the knee helps hold it in place to keep it from dislocating. You need more support between now and your surgery date and for petes sake woman, no running! ;)

I used to have one along with a straight leg splint and a surgical brace but I threw them out after my surgeon promised me I'd never have problems with the other knee :facepalm2:. I might go to the hospital in the morning to fetch a splint or I might just buy one of those braces. Thanks for the reminder and advice, and I can promise you I won't be running again any time soon! :P
