Social crap can suck. Today I am the opposite. I must get out, I have been on the books for 6 weeks and job calls probably won't pick up until mid Jan. Therefore I must go to the De Young or Legion of Honor to keep from going nuts.

I don't think so.  I have daylight bulbs and blue LED lights in my room, but the weather affects the time at which I wake up and how I feel when I wake up, before I've opened my blinds and seen what it's like outside, so I think it might be partly to do with changes in air pressure or something.  Maybe I should get a spacesuit and pump up the pressure on bad days.
