I blamed the cold stone on which they mixed the ice cream with the mix-ins, at first.

Would salmonella on their hands or on the cold stone have allowed enough bacterial growth quickly enough to make us all sick, though?

If it was the ice cream itself, then I thought that would make more sense, since the bacteria would have more time to grow.

My parents ate at a Subway when I was seven and they both got Hippatious B and my brothers and I had to get a shot so we wouldn't get it. I don't think they ate at one for a while. I didn't even see a subway till I was ten when she took my brothers and I there.

Remember the E coli incident in 1993 at a Jack in the Box in Seattle?

I remember my mother telling my brothers and I about it when I was 8 and none of us never wanted to eat there. We all thought it was a place to eat at and get sick and have to go to a hospital. Occasionally our mother would tease us by saying "Hey lets go to Jack in the box and get sick" and my brothers and I would yell "No no" and she laugh and we eat at McDonalds instead. Back then I didn't even know she was teasing.

I didn't eat at one till I was 21 and my first food there was a pumpkin milk shake and a hamburger.
There is a jack in the box not far from where I live I could walk there.
