I suspect the smell (and taste) of my pipe
is sufficient to prevent it from being noticed.

I DO get a taste, every now and then. Mainly,
it's just the blood that I taste. It probably is
making me less healthy, overall. I just assume that
they'll take care of themselves though.

You are probably right, except for those instances when you encounter another person with a nose for blood.

As Milla says, just GO.

Even my joints, tendons, sinuses and old injuries felt better a couple of weeks after it was out.
