I've noticed that every aspie board I've been to has a disproportionate amount of libertarians. This makes sense, in some ways. I thought maybe reactivating the libertarian club at my school might be a good opportunity to meet other aspie-ish people, among other things. Not sure that I can maintain an interest in politics from any place in the traditional spectrum, but then again I'm not confident I know enough to do something like this. On the other hand, this would be the time for it, because the Democratic National Convention is going to be here next year.

Who on this board is a libertarian (either member of a party or not?)

Occasionally. The US libertarians tend to
be less what they purport to be, and more
simply more radical Republicans, in a lot of
cases. Certainly was the case in NY, where
there was a definite advantage to suborning
the minor parties. :-\

but i'm a libertarian socially. just no financially or gunwise.
