I got my darling, i.e. my car, washed and waxed on my mum's expense as a belated birthday gift, got my hair cut and had lunch at the fanciest restaurant in town.  :viking:

Did you dress all fancy for the occasion? And what did you eat?   :toporly:

Finally had something to eat.

Please describe this meal or snack!   :orly:

The salami pizza I described in another post. I've been eating a lot of those lately.

Would your mum pay for the washing and waxing if your darling were a human girl?   :zoinks:

:coffee: and a chocolate chip cookie.

I really love a good homemade chocolate chip cookie with melty chips, no nuts please!  :green:

This chocolate chip cookie I just ate was a store brand one from the cookie aisle at Safeway, but it was pretty good.

My husband doesn't like nuts in his cookies, either.

I really don't like nuts in anything, though I'm not allergic to them as my brother is.   :chin:

My husband doesn't like nuts in anything either, although he likes to eat nuts all by themselves.

Funny, sometimes nuts are good by themselves, it's just that they disrupt the texture of many of the foods they're in.   :chin:

If I didn't know my husband wasn't a twin, I would think the two of you had been separated at birth.

How old is he?   :orly:

Probably not the same age as you.  That's probably another flaw in the theory.

I had fancy clothes, not a suit, though. Polo shirt and what we call "old man's pants" in Sweden, which is the opposite to what it may sound like. It's fine pants, not jeans or jogging pants or such.

I had chicken with honey and apple sauce, shallots in red wine, Jerusalem artichoke and potato gratin.  :viking:

Maybe if she was a really sweet one.  8)

I'm 44. Is he older, or younger?   :orly:
