I picked up tickets I won for the Mannheim Steamroller concert and the 25th anniversary CD.  Fairly pricy tickets (between $75 and $100) from what I can see on the ticket/seating chart.  Just a guess since they were given to the tv station and no price is printed on them.

It's going to be a concert the Princess Royal and I will enjoy.

No, it's Wednesday night.  Also the Princess Royal has an ear infection that we caught early enough so that it should only be a minor annoyance.  And the antiobiotic drops were free under her prescription plan.

Well, a lot of good happened today, most of all, I am replacing my aging Yamaha floor shaker audio receiver with this:


Denon 4310





(gear heads, check out the "Technology"  link on that site - this thing Roxxors!!)

Our company has already removed them from our website, so this is the first I found (Amazon  OK, scratch that. I am using the Denon home site for the pic and the description). The new 4311, which replaced the one I bought today, has 3D capabilities (which I do not care about) and dual sub outs (which my massive, bi-amped six X fifteen sub audible system does not care about).

Mine is 7.1, plenty of watts to shake the floor and since it is about two years old, I got one brand new in the box for two hundred dollars (read that again!! I paid one tenth the "retail" price for an amazing receiver), because the company has sat on too many of them for too long - 3D has made many of these items VERY obsolete. 


The price popped up via internal email and I just decided it was time to jump.

Bought my little sister her fiirst flat. I've always liked her, but since I've moved away I've hardly seen her because she stayed with our parents, and to see her would have meant having to see them. Now I've got somewhere to stay anytime I go back home.
I'm planning to go over and visit her in it soon. I can't wait :)
