While doing voting duty I met 4 people that either backed up some information I knew or was part of a 7 degrees of separation thing.

My English, or my knowledge of USA culture is failing me here I think. Or both.

I don't get the meaning of this sentence at all. But, I am intrigued. Could you elaborate please?

This should help:

I meant to mention, this entry includes an explanation of the term "seven degrees of separation" too.

Wow thanks.

I remember speculating on that during dinners when I was a kid. Never under that name though.
Thanks for reminding me, and for giving me this link, that shows how thoughts about this have been taken to a further level.

Was a case of missing out on the English here.  ;D

Her town is relatively small but her county has almost a million people in it.

Real life, not Queen Vic:

Close.  I live in a suburb of a city of about 500,000 - 600,000 people.  There are about that many in the suburb.  My voting precinct has 1,200 registered voters in it.  I'm a poll commissioner who helps run the voting.

There's a sign on a neighborhood street that says "Autistic Person."  Met the mother of the autistic son in the neighborhood.   Been wondering who it was for a while.
Met the daughter-in-law of one of the TV weathermen.
Met the daughter-in-law of Paul Brinegar (Wishbone on the old TV Series Rawhide)
Met someone who taught a woman who has the unusual first name of Shithead, pronounced Shuh-theed.  People don't believe me when I say that someone's first name is spelled that way and pronounced the other way.
A good monarch is a treasure. A good politician is an oxymoron.

My brain is both uninhibited and uninhabited.

hot showers are nice if you're itchy

the only bad thing about showers is when you get out and your hair's wet in winter you feel freezing

although i guess it's hot where you live lol, not here tho
