This will actually be my first year, and I'm not sure yet.  ::)  Most likely be a toss-up between psychology and biology -- or possibly combining the two into something along the lines of speech-language pathology (since that also involves linguistics, yay).

This semester, though, I'm taking a course on pseudoscience in psychology (which sounds extremely interesting), intro to cognitive science, a mandatory academic writing course, and intro to chemistry. Not looking forward to chemistry, but it's mandatory if you're considering a biology major.  :zombiefuck:

I talked to my younger sister today and mentioned my tenative plans to go to Taupo if my grandmothers estate is taken care of in a timely manner. She expressed interest and between her wanting to go anyway and me hounding her in a minor league way she is committed to go there too. So if none of our siblings/cousins fuck it up with the house sale papers we will go sometime in early September. She lives in San Diego so we could both fly to LAX to meet and fly out. Splitting hotel and car rentals will make it cheaper per person. One device I used was to tell my sister that grandma would have approved of her going overseas. The only time grandma didn't like overseas travel was when men in the family have gone to war.
