Finally got the word on the big contract I bid it's a go picking up a check tomorrow 8)

I wish I could invest it but got to keep the bill collectors at bay as work has been somewhat slow since fall it will be nice not to owe anybody anything though

I'm getting worried. These are contract to
hire positions, so maybe they take you
in, and just treat the first couple weeks
as an extended interview.

Not really ANYTHING. I just put my
resume up, and they're calling.

One's with a school system (programming),
and the other is for a defense contractor (testing).

Damned if I know. I'll be happy, for a while, with anything.
Probably anything will wear off, too.

I thought doing AI research would be good,
but even that wasn't able to keep my attention.

Consulting and teaching were both hit and
miss, because of a lack of external structure.
I COULD blow them off, so 'twas easy to do
so, when I wasn't excited enough by what
I was doing.

I may just need the grind, for a bit, and see
where it leads. More excited by the testing
one, but I'm not going to turn down the other,
until I have something.
